Benchmarking

Know where you stand — and where to improve

A metric in isolation is noise. DXSignal gives you a single DevEx score that trends over time, DORA performance bands on every metric, and anonymized percentiles against teams like yours.

One DevEx score

A single 0-100 developer-experience score blending DORA delivery, SPACE satisfaction, and flow — on your dashboard, so leaders have one number to track and a band (Elite → Low) to aim past.

Trending up or down

The score moves period over period, with a sparkline and the drivers behind every change — so you know whether developer experience is improving, not just where it sits today.

DORA performance bands

Every DORA metric is placed in its performance band — Elite, High, Medium, or Low — so "is 2-day lead time good?" has an answer, with the gap to the next band.

Peer & industry percentiles

See where you rank against peer teams of similar size — and against DORA industry research when a peer cohort is thin, so you always have a meaningful comparison. Percentiles, never raw numbers, with a k-anonymity floor so no individual team is ever identifiable.

Private by design

Peer benchmarking is aggregate-only. We never show another team's numbers, and individual peer cohorts are only used once enough comparable teams have data (a k-anonymity floor) — otherwise you're ranked against DORA industry research instead. Either way no individual organization is ever identifiable. You see your rank; nobody sees you.
